Challenge
Edgar’s Proof & Provision, located inside one of Savannah’s landmarks, The DeSoto Hotel, approached BCKYRD with the desire to increase their social media presence and craft a social media strategy that established themselves online as an authority in the spirits and hospitality industry. Edgar’s wanted to portray their space as a home and hangout for the tastemakers within Savannah’s community.

Approach
We invited Edgar’s marketing team to the office for a discovery session with the goal of nailing down their vision, pain points, creative direction, and a plan for future growth. We discussed each of the product offerings, the desired target audience, and look and feel. We asked the team to pick a celebrity that would personify their brand to help round out the narrative and content strategy.

With this personification in mind, we developed campaigns with the main goal of increasing overall brand awareness, quantifying marketing efforts, as well as involving the local Savannah community.

Solution
We anchored Edgar’s content campaigns on lifestyle branding, highlighting the ambiance of the moody, nostalgic, sexy whiskey bar. We spearheaded the #MySavannah campaign, a video series that spotlights local Savannah mavens and why they select Edgar’s for a hangout spot. The Edgar’s Truth campaign highlights whiskey facts, showcasing Edgar’s authority in the whiskey space.
